Netanyahu is one of the pilots who bombed the Iraqi reactor back in the day.
I don't think he's bluffing.

Good point. The only real danger with Iran is if it turns out that they are
not in fact stable, and not in fact rational, at least in the sense that we
understand rational behavior as dictating a course of self-preservation. If
the mullahs really think it is their destiny from Allah to destroy the state
of Israel, then all bets are off.

In the immediate future , I am far more worried about Pakistan than Iran. We
could literally wake up one day and find that the Taliban have taken over,
that's how bad things are there. The US military has plans in place to seize
their nuclear arsenal if there is a takeover by Islamic extremists. Will
Obama give the green light to do that if the Taliban takes over? I don't
know, and I'm not sure I would want to face that choice myself. At a certain
point, we may run out of good options with regard to Pakistan and Iran.
