Well, to be fair, it was the Republican that spent them but I digress ... As to O's budget I'm not sure what my position is. In principle spending money to make money makes sense, and doing nothing and/or status quo isn't an option. I'm also against deficits. But I'm also for playing big to win big as long as you play smart. So, at the end of the day, we need a big ole deficit monster budget; there's just no other alternative. The status quo ain't gonna cut it. The question is, is the stuff we're getting in O's deficit monster an enabling asset or a worthless pile of crap?
