No, it allows both sides to campaign, which is how elections work.

If the company is paying the employee for their time, the company has the
right to tell the employee to show up at meetings. No one is forcing the
employee to work for a particular employer. That's their choice.

If the company is paying for the office and the wages of the employees, they
get to decide what the employees do during work hours in the office.

If we are talking undue influence here I'd have to say that an

The employer is PAYING for the employee to work for them. If the employee
doesn't like that situation, it's a free country and they can find another
job.
