See, I disagree, I think these pirates are completely different from the ideologically driven terrorists. These people want/need money. That's it. That's what they are after. If they can't get money, or if the get killed while getting the money, it does them NO good.
Our latest action showed them that it's going to be difficult to get any money hijacking Americans, and there's a decent chance you are going to lose your life. If you were a pirate, and you saw other businesses in other countries paying the ransoms, and you saw what happened with the American ship.....wouldn't you do your best to get the former, and avoid the latter?
