I always thought that professional players had it easy and that the
money comes and they don't care. I am sooo wrong.

I have a brother that is a freshman at Western Kentucky University and
got a full ride as a Punter/Place Kicker. I am amazed at how much
dedication and drive he has. He knows that he has to work day in and
day out to make it through 4 years of what is essentially hell to make
it just out of college. After that you have to work your ass off to
get noticed and then KEEP your job in the NFL if you even get there..

A reporter came out and followed him around for a couple of days and
part of that was a "What a day looks like"

Dedication, victory, agony... it is all there... Yeah some lose it and
become egomaniacs but for every T.O. and PacMan there is a Payton
Manning, Steve McNair(RIP), and a Eddie George... true, warrior
athletes.

(BTW you can tell I like football and Nashville...:-)
