I did not have a choice growing up, but have since drifted from the
church.  With our kids, we are raising them, as best as we can with a
'nay sayer' in the house, to be Catholic. When they are 18, they can
then choose to continue or not.

I don't really get the 'de-baptize' thing. If you don't believe, than
the ritual you went through as an infant really does not mean
anything. Its not like it an atheist is wroing they will be forced
into heaven because the did not de-baptize.

Then again, I am not one of those who don't believe and try to ram it
down people's throats (who can be just as annoying as those who try to
ram the Bible down your throat) or gets offended when someone says
'Merry Christmas' or 'Have a blessed day'
