I had induced labor about two weeks early because I had health problems when
I was pregnant.  (That s how I know the little bit I contributed the few
minutes ago).They told me at the time that they wanted to wait to 38 weeks
because the baby's lungs are (did they say stronger?) after that.... we
managed to make it that far so I don't know anything about the treatment but
based on a quick google (anyone mention respiratory distress?) it looks like
a good idea:
