He came out of Monday's seizure very quickly. Unfortunately insulinoma is a
lifelong problem. He's going to be on prednisone for the rest of his life.
Average survival time is 10 to 16 months. If we go for surgery, the average
is about a year and a half. So we'll be going the medical route for the next
while until surgery becomes necessary.

Still, considering what he went through last September with Adrenal cancer,
he's doing pretty good. He's alert and playful. But he's six years old which
is considered fairly old for a ferret. Their typical lifespans are from 7 to
10 years.

As for being wimps for animals etc. seems to me that more of that would help
a lot.
