Canning is on my list of things to do as well but it is a space issue
with us. Up until recently, I gathered eggs from the farm myself, so I
was the only one to blame for chicken crap on them. We try and do meat
and veggies from farmers markets a fair amount of the time. I'll
probably sign up for a CSA this year as spring rolls around and take
some of the effort out by just getting a box to pick up.
