I might understand what was going on, if I had some inkling of a clue of an understanding on what rule he called himself on. But then my only experience with golf was playing with a great uncle's putter at age five for about 1/2 hour ending when the parents spotted me trying to stuff the club into an incinerator. I heard about this on the radio this morning.
