I can see how this fits... But it's not loneliness, it's lust for something
different.

I've had my far share of long term relationships, but they always end up the
same way, people grow apart...  If there were kids in the picture, parents
would be occupied caring for their children, and there would be less room
for all those random things that make couples fall out of love... Although
it still happens...

As long as the Dad and Mom are in the kids life, things work out...
