"Do many of you use JQuery styles in your sites?"

I have been using it for about a year. Users are becoming more
sophisticated. They no longer want to wait for full page reloads or
relocations for information. They want a more interactive experience like
an operating system GUI. This has helped immensely.

At work, we were using some built in cf functionality like cfMenu, cftab,
cftree, and cflayout. I have completely removed these and replaced with
jQuery equivalents. I hated the lack of control in the cf tools and wouldn't
have used them if rapid development wasn't necessary.

Pretty soon, you'll be writing your own plug-ins. There are some very good
tutorials on doing so.

As a warning, some plug-ins are not cross browser friendly. Most are, but
be sure to check your output just to be sure. A lot of issues that I have
seen come up in IE (of course) and are CSS based. Sometimes there will be
issues with safari or opera. Since you can view and change the code, it is
possible to "fix" these quirks.
