External hardware is what I was also including - like the intuitive trackpad, the solid, non "clackity-clack" keyboard, the LED glass screen, the solid aluminum body, etc.
One of the differences here is I have worked extensively on both platforms and have made my decision based on that. I find many Apple haters have either never even used a MBP or have "toyed" with one and formed their opinion that way. I have zero idea why we are all arguing this, since we all have our opinions and it's not like we're gonna change them based on this email thread.
