I have to admit I've never used a MBP. My opinion of Macs is based on
they're desktops, which I have used plenty. I've never liked the OS and
the hardware is nothing special. If you like the OS enough to pay extra
for it, great, but don't try to say the hardware is $200 better than a
PC. It's not better, just prettier and $200 prettier is a hard sell with
most people.

External hardware is what I was also including - like the intuitive
trackpad, the solid, non "clackity-clack" keyboard, the LED glass
screen,
the solid aluminum body, etc.

One of the differences here is I have worked extensively on both
platforms
and have made my decision based on that. I find many Apple haters have
either never even used a MBP or have "toyed" with one and formed their
opinion that way.

I have zero idea why we are all arguing this, since we all have our
opinions
and it's not like we're gonna change them based on this email thread. I
guess it is fun? :)
