I just don't want them to give up on the new enemies and fall back on
the old ones.  One of the things I liked about SG1 is that they
actually won against some enemies and then introduced new ones.  The
System Lords were defeated (though some Goa'uld remained), the
replicators were defeated.  I didn't love the Ori as an enemy as much
but they were interesting.  The wraith I liked.

Bringing the Lucian Alliance back into the picture again - meh.

It is a powerful ship with alot of undiscovered tech, but then so was Atlantis.

No definitely not.  Closer to BSG than SG1 in tone...
