So we are trying to balance out the Constitutional rights of an
Islamic group with a perceived sensitivity issue because they want to
build near the site of a tragic incident that was associated with
people holding some of the same beliefs.

In the spirit of compromise, I humbly suggest we establish a trade off
and not allow any building of Islamic institutions near the WTC or the
Pentagon in exchange for not allowing people to have guns anywhere
near the sites of tragic shooting incidents.

If we are going to be trading Constitutional rights, it seems like a
fair compromise. After all, guns are as responsible for tragic
shootings as Islam is for the 9/11 attacks.

Lets run it by the people using the Islamic center for political gain
and see what they have to say.
