My point here was that cramming gay marriage down people's throats was the wrong way to go about getting it allowed. Scott's point was that sometimes that's the only way to get the right thing done. Your point seems to be that not getting married isn't as bad as slavery. Fair enough, but it has nothing to do with either my point or Scott's counter point and comes off as being nothing more than an inflammatory remark.
Mayhap you should take a few deep breaths and maybe count slowly to 10 between posts? -----Original Message----- From: Sam [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, August 31, 2010 3:58 PM To: cf-community Subject: Re: interesting opinion piece on Beck and the teabagging party You're saying not having a marriage certificate equates to slavery? I'm guessing either you don't mind slavery or that certificate means a real lot to you. You can have mine, it's just a piece of paper to me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology-Michael-Dinowitz/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:326435 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
