That's the problem.  Seem like almost everybody but a select few want to
pick one party to blame.  There is  plenty of blame to spread around and it
goes back further than one administration.

For example, one could start with Clinton's pressure on financial
institutions to submit to "affordable housing" lending (ie:  lend to people
who can't pay back).  This could be followed by the reckless management of
Freddie and Fannie (bundling) and a complete lack of oversight by the
government.

And so on.

It would be impossible for one party to fuck things up as bad as they are
now.  It took a group effort.
