The Macs are going to become part of the Walled Garden ecosystem. That means that Flash and Java may come in the crosshairs for removal, since they will allow customers to go outside this garden to get software.
Apple is implementing the same App Stores etc. for the iPad and iPhone on the next Desktop implementation of OSX.
