I'd be interested to see a list of the so-called promises. Did he
really promise changes he couldn't do, or has the pundit spin
introduced into media and blogosphere a lot claims of promises that he
really didn't make? His opposition has taken his campaign slogan of
hope and change, and turned it into a weapon to bludgeon him, calling
him The One, and The Messiah. Setting up bogus claims, and then
ranting about how he failed to do what he said he would do. Add to
that the ton of troubles he inherited, and has failed to fix within
the time line the opposition has decided was necessary..and its a no
win situation for him. Subtract the financial crisis, look at what he
actually said, compare that with what he has accomplished, and his
record is not so dismal.

I am not happy with him because of his stance on a couple of issues
that matter to me, but I will like vote for him in 2012 - if I am
still around - simply because I find the politics of his opposition so
distasteful. Same reason I am voting for the candidates I picked in
this mid-term election.
