A second the Dave Ramsey recommendation, though the religion stuff is
completely unnecessary and really gets under my skin.  It's great to
get you out of debt though.

I like Sandra's suggestion of the Get Rich Slowly blog - I read it
(whenever I actually open RSS).  Just added The Simple Dollar.

I'd also add one more - Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.  This is
sort-of the anti-Dave Ramsey - it isn't really a "getting out of debt"
kinda book, I do think it goes a long way towards changing one's
perspective on being an employee and working for your money vs your
money working for you.  It also gives some interesting ways to think
about debt and how to determine when you can afford that new car in a
very different way than someone like Dave Ramsey.
