In 30+ years of dealing with brokerage firms, I'm never encountered a more incompetent bunch that the ones we are currently dealing with at Morgan Stanley. They bought the brokerage where my partner has his investments, and every single month they screw up something. I think after reading this, I'm going to move all his stock to another firm tomorrow. Should have already done it.
