You really are a catch for the left wing spin machine. The tea party movement controls nothing. The Democrats control the Senate and the Presidency. The Republicans controls the house. There is no official "Tea Party", but those that you would call Tea Party candidates make up a small portion of the Republicans in the house. With proper leadership in congress and from the President, the Tea Party influence on the debt talk would be negligible.
