I'm class of 92 also, but I would bet it's similar groups of music.  I'd go
for any hits from about 1987 - 1991.  Def Leopard, Poison, Cure, Skid Row,
Van Halen, Duran Duran are easy ones.  I was also into the Clash, Zeppelin,
Camper Van Bethoven, but I suspect those are less universal.  A couple of
nice remixes containing those artists might go over well too.
 2manyDJs/soulwax has some great remix stuff containing music from that time
period.

I also have fond memories of other slight older music from "skate night" in
elementary school that I'd love to hear at a reunion, like "I love Rock and
Roll" by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.
