I also ran into Michael Stipe at 40 Watt in Athens GA in the mid 90's - maybe 94 or 95. They were all known for being out -n- about and seen routinely in Athens. The entire city had a kinda "leave the guys alone and don't hassle them" policy regarding running into them. As I remember it, Stipe bummed a cigarette off a friend of mine and we all just went on our way, trying not to be starstruck and asshats about it. It was pretty cool though - considering how big REM was at that time. -Cameron ... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:342947 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
