well, it's an accredited public university, so it's not a degree mill, but the website is wordpress and doesn't seem to be updated too often. Hmm. Seems odd for a program that claims to teach cutting-edge technology. Tell you what, someone was talking to me about a project in this field, and *they* were using Rails, Lua, JavaScript and Objective C. Does that answer your question? If he is bound and determined, try to get him to at least make sure the program has at least heard of mobile development, at a minimum.
