Sam is deliberately offensive. He forgets or more likely deliberately ignores the fact that Ms. Fluke was testifying about the lack of coverage for student purchased health insurance for certain medical conditions. Better to lie to support is point in other words. He is like someone from the realm of the immoderate flatterers of Dante's hell with the appropriately adjusted anatomy.
