Well, the person with the degree has a big one-up over the person that doesn't, so if they end up fighting for the same job, preference will be given to the degree holder, on average. Then again, it probably doesn't matter if you get a job being the slurpie machine cleaner at 7-11 My degree is Information Design with a specialization in Web App. Development. I also minored in Professional Business. I am of the biased opinion that a degree so specifically relevant to my chosen career field is worth the debt and does give me an advantage. > Where is the career path guidance for students who do go to college? There are guidance centers and things, but the students have to seek them out. Also, the guidance people will often listen to what the student wants and not even argue what might be best for them. > J ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:348620 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
