Actually, I am right in Portland proper. About a 10 minute bike ride to downtown, 20 minute drive to Washington. In the flat part of NE called Sabin if you want to be precise. The elevation makes a big difference. We got about a half inch of slushy snow last night. My coworker that lives in the hills in SW Portland got about 4 inches of snow. It's only about 300 feet difference in elevation but when it hangs out around 36 degrees and raining at my house, that 300 feet makes a difference.
We had three quarters of an inch of rain yesterday, half inch the day before, quarter inch so far today but it's currently stopped raining, so maybe it will dry out some. And all the while it was 35 to 40 degrees. Y'all in California are welcome to it.
