It's SOP....get yourself a large group of people, do whatever you can to initiate some violence (doesn't take much), and then gain sympathy. It works on the Eric Roberts' of the world every time. Every single time.
I've just grown weary of it. I sympathize with SOME of the goals of the protestors.....but they aren't going to get any sympathy from me if they get their ass kicked by cops who are trying to do a difficult job. If YOU initiate a confrontation, and YOU end up getting your ass kicked. Tough shit.
