very true. if a group is receiving most of their funding from a well
funded special interest group or very wealthy benefactors, like the
Koch brothers, then that completely distorts the intended message. It
becomes astroturf in the eyes of the public. No matter how meritorious
the message, its invalidated.

Another reason for complete transparency and disclosure.
