actually, most of the articles I have seen on this, including this one I
believe, specifically say that if there are illegalities they are rather
technical. The obverse is however also true -- if it's legal, it's due to a
technicality. I don't want to debate the relative merits of tax avoidance
strategies. But does anyone who uses any of them get to pontificate about
people who want to get stuff for free?

Not in my book.

But the reason *I* think this article is important is that I hey, this
guy's supporters have "Believe in America" plastered all over Facebook. But
where's his money? In Bahama. In the Cayman Islands. I am not sure how a
talent for discovering and exploiting weird loopholes, and offshoring his
assets, translates to the business experience he is claiming that tells him
how to create jobs.

And I am *really* damn sure that his money problems don't look anything at
all like *my* money problems. Nor, I suspect, is his agenda for the US
anything that would in any way improve my life. At all.
