Nancy Pelosi has backed off her demands or Romney to release his records. It seems that only 17 of 535 congressional members have released their tax records. She is not one of the 17. When the subject of her tax returns became the issue, she relented somewhat. After more pestering by the unusually tenacious reporters, Pelosi said the following:
