And it is worth noting that these so-called "mock executions" were one of
the egregious actions that prompted John McCain to write and pass the
Detainee Treatment Act that made sure everyone acting on behalf of our
country (including civilian contractors) all followed the same rules and
explicitly banning such action so that there wasn't even a wiff of a
question. Not that there should have been after Abu Ghraib.
