Not always. As a proud lifetime member of the NRA, I get the American Rifleman
magazine each month. In it is a section titled The Armed Citizen. That section
talks about armed citizens taking matters (legally) into their own hands. And
there are stories of grannies and grandpas as well as young adults and
teenagers defending themselves and their property.
