Yeah, because when you get to the end of most of the stores, I guess it is NOT a fact that when law enforcement are asked to comment on these situations, they always say that the intended victim was in their right to defend themselves and their property. I am not saying that EVERY SINGLE PERSON who shoots someone in self defense is in the right. There are plenty of cases in which the intended victim was wrong in their application of self defense. My point was that there are cases where there are armed senior citizens who can and have defended themselves legally. Maureen's point was PERSONAL experience that not every grannie is helpless. Lord help anyone who tries to break into my mothers home (she is a great grannie). There's enough firepower in that house to take out an LA street gang. and she will without hesitation take someone out if she feels threatened and as a last resort has to shoot someone.
