Obviously not a complete solution to the problem of gun violence, mental
health, voter fraud, election fixing and suppression, honey bee dieoffs, or
the cost of gasoline.

but, in this case, you have a large group advocating for increased ID and
proof for exercising a right, and another group saying "that is
unacceptable. requiring IDS and background checks is a freedom killing
intrusion."

and in the other case, you have almost exactly the same group arguing that
IDs and background checks are unacceptable, and the reciprocal group
arguing the opposite.

so I say tie the two issues together, and see if people agree that IDs and
background checks are good, or are bad, across both issues.
