6 rockets per site is far from pointless. Dudes used to set up one or two 107 rockets to fire at our FOBs all the time. Usually launched by timer or cell phone.
In a cell based resistance type organization they intentionally decentralize supplies so you can't take everything out at once. Not to mention the supply lines and command and control facilities are fair game to. Party of my thinking on this is that we have sanitized not just the realities of war, but the philosophies of it as well. Hamas as a governing body and a military force can not exist without the explicit support and consent of the people of Gaza. In war, real war; the goal is politics by force. Moving a border, changing a government, stopping specific behavior, seizing resources and territory. While the military is used to carry out operations it is the will of the people that the force carries out. Therefore aren't these "innocent civilians" simply the support system allowing Hamas to continue to attack?
