This is one of the things I've been saying forever. Iran and Saudi Arabia are in some ways a lot like America and the Soviets during the cold war.
Two poles pulling the Muslim world here and there. Many of the complaints, usually lodged openly in the form of a fatwa, have merits. Of course these were easy to ignore while we watched the evils done internally to kafir and the faithful alike.
