There are more healing potions, because there is a LOT more fighting
than in mmost DnD campaigns.

You would also notice that you only get about 10% of the XP you should
get for each monster type. This is again due to the frequency of combat
encounters.

This was due to game balancing for the computer as opposed to a PnP
campaign where most players WANT a lot of combat on the computer.
:)

Also, you can cheat very easily in most computer games.
Quake? Doom? Red Faction? Medal of Honour? Jedi Knight? Freedom
Force?....

Etc. etc. etc.

I think one of my problems with NWN is that it's very magic heavy - you
find healing potions on about every other opponent, and then sometimes
CCW ones... This just makes it too much compared to real D&D campaigns

I love the game, but it just annoyed me

Oh, and it's too easy to cheat on;
Hit the tilde key ~ to access the console.When in there, type "DebugMode
1" (no quotes, case sensitive). That enables cheats. Some simple
ones(all case sensitive): dm_god god mode SetCHA # * For these 6, the
number should be between 9 and 50.. any higher and the game may glitch.
Any lower and your character will be worthless. SetCON # SetDEX # SetINT
# SetSTR # SetWIS # dm_givegold # dm_givexp # dm_givelevel #

Without using DebugMode, "infinite money";
At the Druid encampment near Never Winter Woods (Chapter 2), click on
Aawill the head Druid, select choice 2 and he'll give you 100 gold,
repeat...
