Warranty time :) I just sent AMD a 1.2GHz processor that actually melted the fan connectors to the heatsink, causing the fan to fall off! I've had pretty decent luck with computer manufacturers and warranties, when they are American. VisionTek sent me a GF3 to replace a defective GF2 even.
