Belgium, Ireland, Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Well that's not
counting Canada and Mexico. I always tend to forget those for some reason.
Alberta, Canada (where I lived for a while) was a lot like the US, and
Mexico was just a very short cross border jaunt.

The first two were just stopping points on our way to and from the middle
east. The rest were during a peace keeping mission in Egypt called MFO.
And did some other traveling that doesn't warrant discussion.

Wow! A former paratrooper -- that must have been exciting and dangerous and
scary ... I can't imagine but I have a lot of respect for you. There are
several libertarians on this list, as I'm sure you'll discover. And several
conservatives. And liberals. And we like to go to loggerheads, but we do it
with respect. Only rule: No namecalling, or Judith comes on with a whip.
(Or Erika with a K sics Python, the stallion from hell, on you. Or we all
throw stale mufffins. Or (worse-case scenario) the name-caller gets banned
from the list. But we've never had to go there over politics yet.

As for me, I've made a place for myself in this community, but I'm an
editor, not a programmer! I think I'm a programmer wanna-be -- lucky for me
I married Michael. <g>

What foreign countries have you been to?
