Being active online usually means you know some other people that can 
take care of basics such as list subscriptions. And listmasters should 
be helpfull. Nowadays, everybody knows somebody with a clue.

I don't have that many files. I suppose the p0rn goes to my roommates, 
and maybe somebody is interested in the Buffy episodes (Bill?) and that 
is about it.

That's a good reason to include a license statement on top. Use an OSI 
Certified License and all will be good :)
