Ha ha.

>>| Being active online usually means you know some other
>>| people that can take care of basics such as list subscriptions. And
>>| listmasters should be helpfull. Nowadays, everybody knows somebody
with a clue.

Well that's the point. If you don't think ahead, and make a deal with
someone online, that they would be notified in the event of your death,
and could they, on your behalf, carry out the potentially monumentous
task of closing down all your online activity. Maybe blogs that you
write, or message boards that you mentor, etc. I'm not just talking
about automated list requests, I'm talking about everything. If you
don't take that step ... Your computer can potentially sit there on your
desk, with no-one bothering to turn it on and at least send emails out
to those people in your address book.

Now of course in my situation, I have Philip, and he's saavy enough to
turn my puter on and take care of all these details ... But there are
quite a number of people out there who are the ONLY computer persoon in
the household. I know many people that can't even turn one on, let alone
start-up Outlook and know how to use it.

I'm not being funny, I'm very serious. For me, I run a business here.
There are hundreds of contacts I've made and people in my book, that I
converse with on a monthly basis. Some are projects, some aren't. There
are other poeple in this boat.

Well, I have quite a few files. And I daresay, there's a few other
people here as well that might have quite a few articles, code snippets,
applications, etc .... That might not be publicly released yet or are
almost ready for the public eye .. Or was a project for a friend on the
internet, etc.

Haha again. That's not the case with everything.

>>| Is there anything you want to tell us?

No. Just a very serious matter I've been thinking about and wondering if
anyone else had any thoughts on the matter.
