I don't know - my parents raised me as an athiest, but with a strong jewish
identity.  You can raise a kid as a jew with or without religion and it
doesn't mean they will become some other religion.

My kids will be raised as secular jews as well.

I find the hatred between the orthodox and secular groups in Israel
revolting.
