bgl~ yeah, the Blue Angles are pretty impressive, but I think the Blue Angels are better <g>
Today is their practice show. Live shows are scheduled for Sat. and Sun. approx 3pm (weather depending). Last about 40 minutes. Show center is end of Muni Pier at foot of Van Ness. End of Muni Pier is by ticket ($$) only. Muwahahahaha we have tickets for Sunday at the "VIP" section - seats, with the catered buffet lunch. Whoopee !!! The air show maneuvers which go in an arc (like the Pass In Review) have their endpoints at Pier 39 and Marina Green. They are visible along the whole path. But the "crossing" maneuvers are most impressive at show center. Saw the Air Force's Thunderbirds last Saturday at their home base, Nellis AFB (Las Vegas). Was right at show center. Awesome. Took some great pictures. (But prefer the Blues to the Birds.) Enjoy! -Ben > WHOAAAAA! > > A few of the Blue Angles just flew over my neighborhood, and since the > clouds are so low, they were _very_ low.
