Latest shooting is about 2 miles up the road from me. The place I am staying right now was close to all of the original 4 or 5 shootings. Pretty freaky. I had really hoped the arrests yesterday were pertinent. Oh well.
I am just pissed because my son isn't going to have a real Halloween. I mean I think about all the kids (especially seniors trying to get into university) who loose their sports and other extra curricular activities. All the over time the police are putting in, all the extra traffic and hassle. I board at the Glenmont station to ride the metro to work. As I was pulling in this morning a virtual army of patrol cars and such went screaming by. I am so sick of this. One person in the right place and time and all this goes away. I hope they catch this guy soon, and I hope he makes it nice and easy and tries to fight arrest. Sniper my ass. Ask me again why I think private citizens should be able to carry guns.
