While I do not agree with Mr. Thacker's position in practice or concept,
I do not see any difference between his statements and those of the
Anti-Smoking crowd. In both cases (smoking and unprotected homosexual
intercourse) you have an activity that has been voluntarially undertaken
by the participants that has a known possible side effect of infecting
the participant(s) with a potentially life-threatening disease.

Why, then is it pubically and socially acceptable to bash the crap out
of smokers but not voice an opinion when it comes to gays who are
partner hopping willy-nilly with no care for protection?

Alternately, why are people who practice "alternative" lifestyles (that
run the potential of killing them) openly embraced and accepted by our
social and educational systems and people who help support public
programs and government funding (by paying additional taxes for a
product they choose to purchase and use) berated and badgered?
