Well I mainly get a kick out of this because I am from Texas, live in
Houston to be exact.

And this beautifully illustrates the "cowboy" stereotype for Texans. But
lemme tell you this.

1) I do NOT ride a horse to work
2) I do NOT wear a cowboy hat or boots
3) I HATE Country music
4) and most importantly, I do NOT nor will I ever own a gun, unless of
course there is a virus that wipes out 99% of the population and all
that is left is the good and the evil and I am forced to defend myself
and my family...=P

However, I DO think that our "good ole Texas boy" pres, Mr. GW is gonna
get us in trouble here (if he hasn't pretty much already), with a
similar mentality as what is listed below =(

If I'm an expert shot with the weapon (and only if I'm an expert shot)
then I'd
aim to wound. Thigh, leg, arm, etc. But it would depend on the situation
a bit
more. Does it look like he was chasing someone? If so, then he may not
be
dangerous to me. If not, he's a target. The situation has to be defined
a little
better.
And if I'm carrying a Glock, then I've got to have a license and know
when/how
to use it so there's no concern with the law. Do I care if he's poor or
oppressed? no more than I'd care if he's rich and the presidents kid.
Threatening with death is threatening with death no matter who or what
the
person is.

Not only do I have strong conservative leanings, I take things seriously
many
times. :)
