I wouldn't even characterize this thread of changing the names of everything with the word "French" in it to be "Anti-Gaullic" behavior. I for one think the French are correct in their objection. I don't care one whit about changing the names, I think it's just ridiculous and I'm just going along for the ride in an effort to find how many more ridiculous and funny things we can find.
If this thread is the whole basis for the "Anti-French" feeling you have, I think you're being way too sensitive. I haven't seen one message that says "The French are all idiots, we should bomb them too" or "All the French must die!" I would find that stuff to be more along the lines of reasons to be upset.
